Ronnie James Dio Farewelled By Metallica Drummer

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has penned an emotional goodbye to Ronnie James Dio who died on the weekend from stomach cancer at the age of 67.
In the letter, Lars says how he first saw Dio perform with Elf back in 1975 and was a fan of Rainbow from the moment he joined the ban.
He says that when he heard that the Haven and Hell European tour was cancelled because Ronnie had taken a turn for the worse that he wanted to call him but "pussied out".
