Aerosmith

Despite all the Aerosmith drama lately, the band has been confirmed to play the U.K.'s massive Download Festival with Steven Tyler at the helm. Classic Rock magazine reports that festival promoter Andy Copping has booked Aerosmith on the condition that the band is only fronted by Tyler. The move follows weeks of speculation that Joe Perry and the rest of the band were looking for a replacement singer, at least on a temporary basis, while Tyler addressed his health issues. The festival will take place at Leicestershire's Donington Park the weekend of June 11-13 with other headliners such as Rage Against the Machine, Them Crooked Vultures, Stone Temple Pilots and AC/DC, plus the newly added Lamb of God, Stone Sour, Billy Idol, Five Finger Death Punch and 30 Seconds to Mars.
