Ozzy's New Album

Ozzy Readies New Album
by Daniel Zugna - April 12 2007

Ozzy Osbourne is set to release what he sees as the "true follow-up" to his classic 1991 solo album 'No More Tears'.

Tracks from 'Black Rain', Ozzy's first studio album in six years, can be sampled at Ozzy's website.

Ozzy's touring band – guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Blasko and drummer Mike Bordin – all play on the album, with Ozzy singling out Wylde for specific praise, saying he "plays some amazing stuff as always".

The album sees Ozzy tackling subjects such as war, the environment and drugs. He also pays tribute to his loyal fans on two tracks, 'Here For You' and 'Lay Your World On Me'.

'Black Rain' is released in the US on May 22. Ozzy tours in support of the album from May through July, before headlining this year's free OzzFest touring spectacle.

Glad that the Ozz man is releasing some new stuff :) Long live Ozzy!
