Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi Autobiography Details Revealed

Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi Autobiography Details Revealed
By Andrew Tijs

Details have come to light about Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi’s forthcoming autobiography.

A blurb about Iron Man: My Life In Black Sabbath And Beyond says that it covers his “rough-and-tumble childhood”, divorces, addiction, fame, his bandmates, and “the ups and downs of his life as an artist”.

The description reads, "Everything associated with hard rock happened to Black Sabbath first: the drugs, the debauchery, the drinking, the dungeons, the pressure, the pain, the conquests, the company men, the contracts, the combustible drummer, the critics, the comebacks, the singers, the Stonehenge set, the music, the money, the madness, the metal."

Bravewords.com write that the book will be released on October 13 in the UK and November 1 in the US.

Although fansite Black-Sabbath.com says the book is not yet finished and the release date may change.

(So many excellent books coming out or that are already out in bookstores. This one Steven Tylers, Nikki Sixx, but none as expensive as Jimmy Page's book!)
