32 years on the 'Dark Side of the Moon'

The Crimson White Online - 32 years on the 'Dark Side of the Moon'

So what is that experience? What is "Dark Side" all about? In short, it's about empathy for being human. "Dark Side" is about the pressures of life - weighty themes such as death and God and ambition all bearing down and driving you to throw up your hands.

It's also about longing for perfection in the world and even being able to sense some, yet there's always some nagging force that keeps you from experiencing it. The last line of the album is the most telling: "Everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon."

One thing I can say is, you never tire of hearing this classic Floyd album. I venture to say that anyone who ever hears this album, gets hooked by The Floyd in some way.
