CD of the Week Mighty Rearranger

Guardian Unlimited | Arts Friday Review | Who dares, wins

In theory at least, 57-year-old former Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant should have it tougher than most. As the lamentable figures of Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart prove, the more priapic the rock god in his prime, the more difficult it seems for him to remain on speaking terms with dignity as middle age looms. Thirty years ago, Plant was the most priapic of the lot, not so much a frontman as a kind of singing erection in platform shoes.

LOL, they got that right!! It really is tough being a Rock God, but a Golden God like Robert, it must be very hard :)

LED ZEPPELIN - PLANT THANKS BATH ECHO FOR UNIQUE SOUND

LED ZEPPELIN - PLANT THANKS BATH ECHO FOR UNIQUE SOUND

rocker ROBERT PLANT developed his unique vocal style after several singing sessions in the bath tub.
The STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN singer credits the echo effect he achieved when he warbled down the plughole with helping him form his now-internationally recognised vocal sound.

Aaah...I just love that falling down the wishing well sound :) that Plant makes.

Plant bridges old, new

The Sun News | 03/25/2005 | Plant bridges old, new

It's impossible to see the legendary Led Zeppelin in person these days, due to the 1980 death of powerhouse drummer John Bonham, but for the smattering of kids sporting Led Zeppelin T-shirts at Monday night's show, Plant's performance was a respectable bridge from the glorious past to a forward-looking present. Where's that confounded bridge?

Aha and that's why if you can, go catch one of Robert's show this time around you know it'll ROCK!!

Very nice piccy of Robert with a curl dangling in front of his face.
